It's a bird it's a plane

My first airplane ride. Looking out that window wondering what I had gotten myself into.

We flew over land. Not sure why the floatation device was necessary.

I was prepared for the worse but hoping for the best.

Was told this was a horrible flight. Seeing as how it was my first I had nothing to compare it to. I caught a few images out the window during prayers.

Getting ready to land in Houston. I would have kissed the ground but my knees were shaking to bad.

Road Trip 13

How many folks can you fit in one car? When we set out on this adventure we had no idea how much fun you can have when you cram 7 people with luggage in a car made for 4 on these type trips. Sheldon. Chicks dig geeks..... Photobomb or pose while his momma is in the belly of the shark? U decide. He found flipper. Aren't they cute? cough cough Who Dat? cough cough Close call here but they managed to come out of this without a scratch. Don't be fooled by the laughter that shark was huge. You can't tell but there is a huge shark mouth behind us. (There everywhere down here) It's all ok we got out safely. Gathered around the table for red velvet, chocolate chip, cinnastack pancakes. Checkout the view of the ocean in the background. It's was as grand as it sounded. Coulda used a crew of men to tote me outta there. It's 3am and they are all still laughing and taking. Not at all. HE makes all things new

My oldest son purchased the taj mahal of dog kennels. It is extremely nice and we installed it in the backyard in the middle of two nice bushes. Over time the grass started to grow and I kept dropping subtle hints to both of my boys that it would be much easier to keep the kennel clean daily than to let the grass grow and get out of hand. I held out hope that the day would come when it would get so bad that they would want to clean it back up. Well my oldest picked today. The first day of the brand new school year for the task. It was a loooooong day. It was a good day but a loooooong day. I was exhausted before I made it home. We both rolled up our sleeves and got after it. There was grass to cut, stones to wash, and holes to fill with dirt. Several hours into the job things were starting to look good.
